The breakfast buffet offers a solid variety, from fluffy pancakes to ample pastries, enough to kickstart your day. The location couldn't be more convenient, just a stone's throw from Times Square, allowing easy access to the city's vibrant heart.
The elevators can be a real hassle, often requiring a tricky card maneuver during busy hours. the shower design sports a transparent wall facing the bed, which can be a bit off-putting for privacy. Not to mention the breakfast area can get chaotic, often leading to frustrating wait times that might stretch on longer than you'd hope.

Great location and fantastic breakfast!
I had a delightful stay in a Deluxe Queen Room for 4 nights. The breakfast was a standout, featuring fluffy pancakes and a wide variety of pastries, making it a pleasure to start each day. The location was perfect—just a short walk from Times Square, which allowed easy access to all the attractions we wanted to see. the bathroom privacy setup could be improved, as the frosted glass wall did not provide enough separation.

Lovely hotel! The location is fab for getting to Times Square, but it's a bit of a mess outside. The family room was spacious and comfy, perfect for our needs!
But good luck navigating the breakfast chaos—it's like herding cats in a windstorm!

The location was perfect, just a short walk from Times Square. The Deluxe King Room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a lovely private bathroom with a rain shower. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the view from the room was stunning! Plus, the staff were genuinely attentive, making my stay extra special.
While the dining scene was fab, let's talk about that bathroom situation—no lock on the sliding door and the glass shower wall? Not cool, especially with teens around. Awkward vibes for sure!

Our stay was wonderful, as the breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety of options to start each day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Times Square and nearby attractions like Broadway and the Empire State Building, making it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the room really stood out, especially since it had no carpet, which I appreciated. Overall, we felt well taken care of throughout our visit.

I had a pleasant stay with a clean and modern room that offered great views. The breakfast selection was enjoyable, but it got quite crowded, leading to some wait times. It would have been better if tea and coffee were available in the room, as well as clearer communication regarding extra charges.

missingWrote a review on Oct 15great breakfastmodern decorhelpful staffsmall roompoor privacy
Perfectly located just a short walk from Times Square. The room felt small but was clean and had a nice, modern decor. Loved the breakfast buffet with its variety of options, especially the fresh fruits and pastries. The staff were friendly and helpful most of the time, but I encountered some that seemed unwelcoming at check-in. The glass wall in the bathroom lacks privacy, especially at night. The breakfast area gets crowded, and sometimes, the coffee machines seemed to malfunction. I would stay again for the location and breakfast, but the noise and the check-in experience could use improvement.

The location of Riu Plaza was so perfect that I felt like I was living in a Broadway musical, Times Square was just a hop, skip, and a jump away! The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a delightful selection that included an avalanche of pastries and pancakes fluffier than a pillow fight at a sleepover.

I stayed for a work trip at Riu Plaza and found the location to be excellent, just minutes from Times Square and major attractions. The staff was efficient and friendly, assisting with my needs promptly. The breakfast provided a great variety, including fresh pastries and made-to-order omelets, which was a pleasant surprise for a hotel buffet.
The elevators were congested at peak times, making it occasionally difficult to get to my floor in a timely manner.

missingWrote a review on Oct 02spacious roomsgreat viewsdiverse breakfastglass wallsno coffee
Rooms are spacious, boasting impressive views from high floors that are a treat after a day in the city. The breakfast buffet offers a diverse selection, ensuring everyone can find something to fuel up before hitting the streets, although it can get bustling during peak hours.
Glass bathroom walls may not provide the privacy some guests desire, which might leave you feeling exposed. Additionally, there’s no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, so you need to get dressed and head to the café for a morning fix—definitely a hassle if you’re not a morning person.
